About this airline
The flag carrier of Italy, and successor airline to Alitalia. The airline started operations on 15 October 2021 and operates flights from its Rome and Milan hubs. The airline reached an agreement with the Lufthansa group, which owns 41% of ITA Airways. The airline will become a full Star Alliance member in 2026.
